Welcome to the website of the Bedfordshire Band of the Royal British Legion.

About us

The RBL Bedfordshire Band is a wind band, formed in September 2017 as the RBL Buckinghamshire Band. We relocated to Beds in early 2024.

We rehearse every second Tuesday evening from 7.30 to 9.30pm in the Royal British Legion Hall, West Street, Leighton Buzzard.

Our members are drawn from British Army, Royal Air Force, Royal Artillery, Royal Navy, Honourable Artillery Company, and various non-service backgrounds.

Our professional duties involve providing music for service occasions such as Remembrance and Armed Forces Day, and charity and community events across the county of Bedfordshire.

Our Band President is Mr Bob Higgins, chairman of the Amersham and District branch of the Royal British Legion.
